Owing to rapid expansion, a rearrangement of Brass Bulletin for the sake of clarity has suggested itself. Here, in a few words, what we propose to do:

The format will be doubled (A4: 21,2/29,8 cm), which enables us to arrange the three languages in three columns next to each other on one page. The main advantages are: the general view of the texts is clearer and the illustrations will be at the right place for all three languages.

The large page also allows us to introduce a new and perhaps very interesting column: the publication in extenso of an entire page of brass music, perhaps even written expressly for Brass Bulletin readers by a contemporary composer!

We hope in this way to stimulate relations between composers and practising musicians whose opinions, comments and place/date of first performance we shall gladly publish. Brass Bulletin has subscribers in 41 countries!

For texts about the First International Brass Congress to be held in Montreux, Switzerland, June 13—19, 1976, see column B, Chronicle, special paper.

From 1976 on Brass Bulletin will be publishing 4 issues per year.
