1. Purpose of the Website
This website provides access to the Brass Bulletin digital archive and supports the ongoing digitization and publication of its historical content (1971–2003).
2. Access to Content
Some content on the website is freely accessible.
Other content is reserved for individual subscribers or licensed institutions.
Certain articles may not yet be available due to the ongoing digitization process.
3. Digitization Process
The Brass Bulletin archive is being digitized progressively over a long-term period.
The project comprises 124 historical issues and is expected to take several years to complete.
Subscribing or obtaining institutional access supports this digitization work but does not guarantee immediate access to the complete archive.
4. Individual Subscriptions
Individual subscriptions provide personal, non-commercial access to subscriber-only content (see Individual Subscriptions).
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis and may be cancelled at any time.
Access remains active until the end of the current billing period following cancellation.
Subscriptions are non-transferable.
5. Institutional Licenses
Institutions may obtain access to the archive under a separate annual license agreement (see Institutional Access).
Institutional access is granted for educational and research purposes within the licensed organization and may be provided via dedicated login credentials or IP-based authentication.
Specific conditions of institutional access are governed by the individual license agreement concluded with the institution.
6. Intellectual Property and Downloads
All content published on this website, including downloadable PDF files, remains the intellectual property of Brass Bulletin unless otherwise stated.
Individual subscriptions grant personal, non-commercial access and permit downloading of PDF files for private use only.
Institutional licenses permit downloading for internal educational and research use within the licensed institution.
Downloaded materials may not be reproduced, redistributed, shared publicly, or made available outside the scope of the granted access without prior written permission.
7. Liability
The website and its content are provided “as is”.
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and availability, uninterrupted access and the absence of errors cannot be guaranteed.
8. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
